They seem very "corporate" in their way of describing things and that may be just what it takes to survive. Again, it could be sour grapes. I really cant make up my mind. Thanks for reading.Surlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11809693173008695179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11254826.post-1137211056579848262006-01-13T21:57:00.000-06:002006-01-13T21:57:00.000-06:00I appreciate what you're saying, but to offer a co...I appreciate what you're saying, but to offer a counter-point: until a company starts selling huge numbers of a product, any product, it's best for that company to appeal to the top 10% of the market because it costs a LOT to hand-build something.

Alas, the top 10% of the motorcycle market tend to be pretentious asses that will rarely ride their trophy bike.

Anyway, my point is just that they're trying to make a living, which means appealing to the people with the money. I'm sure if they could sell their bikes to everyone for a low price, they would (at least, I hope so.).

That said, I sure wish Exile Cycles wouldn't have gone on TV. Now I'm never going to be able to get one...

Incidentally, have you seen http://spookytoothcycles.com/ ?

Great post, anyway, I know what you mean about being torn between admiring the craftsmanship and innovations, and being disgusted by how it is presented.Luckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12481824369632937289noreply@blogger.com
