I rode the bike to work today...

...and froze my ass off. There was frost on the truck window. I have to get something for my shield to combat fogging. I am thinking of a Fog City Pro Shield. I rode the bike about a quarter of a mile to the end of my road, flipped the shield down and went blind the first time I exhaled. FUCK. It was in the 30's this morning and I had to ride with my shield up. I'm not complaining so much about the temperature, that was my choice, the complaint is with the helmet and the fact that I don't have my shit together. I wore the wrong gloves and I should have donned my riding pants. Every time I ride in the cold I'm reminded how stupid chaps are. Rarely do I say "Boy o boy, may balls are way too hot but my knees are cold, If I only had some crotchless leather pants everything would be A.O.K." For those of you keeping score; I don't care for chaps, Corvette's, and V-rods. If anyone has a recommendation for an anti fog device please leave a comment. BTW, my helmet does have a breath deflector installed in it. All it does is make me look like a fighter pilot.

My first visit here and I'm greeted by none other than a pair of chaps. I LOVE when my husband wears his. HOT!

He rode his bike to work today, too, but it's pushing 80 degrees.

Well, welcome. You'll see I'm not a fan of the chaps but if they work for you and your husband...whatever.

Hi Sonny,
I read in one of my magazines that shaving cream used to clean a bathroom mirror keeps it from steaming up. You might want to try that in your steamy bathroom to see if it works prior to going blind again. I laughed then I threw up...
I also just read that if you use straight up Listerine in a spray bottle and spray where the kids play or you are sitting those little mosquito hate the stuff. Its cheap and you know it won't hurt any one.
