In a perfect world...

...my blog would have been BikeEXIF. But it's not a perfect world and Chris has been doing it so well on his own. I was trying to find some inspiration today by searching blogs and I ran across a stunning photo of a mind-shaker of a bike, the BMW R7. More on the bike later. The pic was on Ray's Vintage Speed which is an assemblage of pics of cool bikes and VW's but no descriptions or photo credits. Good one to check out on break if you have a minute or five but not always safe for work. I decided to see if I could find out who took the photos and learn more about the bike. A search took me to BikeEXIF a nice looking blog with one of the things all aspects of my life lacks, focus. Great pics and nice write ups on motorcycles. I see the latest post mentions taking a break but go over there and check it out, it's way better than here. Go ahead, I'll wait. See, cool right? So credit being due and all that, I would have loved for my blog to have started out like that but we have Chris down there on the warm side doing all the hard work for us. Thanks Chris. Through the BikeEXIF site I also found Pipeburn which is similar and related so check that out as well. Now the bike, it's the shit.

Dammit Janet; that is one sexy motorrad, no? I think the photo credit should go to Jens Kron. Please correct me if I am wrong as this is also a very well made photo as well. I won't go into details about what it is and isn't as there are many write ups on the bike. Just take a minute and stare at that thing... The next time someone suggest aesthetics are unimportant, just think to yourself 1934 BMW R7.
Thanks for checking in. Rock on.
