Oh yeah, aren't you in the former "land that daylight-savings-time forgot"? I used to work in the summers delivering ice, and we used to go to a little town in Indiana called Union City - half the town was in Ohio, half in Indiana. I remember wondering how they dealt with the time change...
I'm near Chicago and we've been on Central time for as long as I know. GMT-6 It's the rest of the state that is all screwed up. Some places used to change, some did not. Most of the state is Eastern time. Now all of the state changes except for the places that refuse to do it.

That's good Kid. You hit it right on the head. The silly bastids around here are blaming the time change for everything that's wrong in their lives. Crazy shit.
There is a strong attitude about, "WE ain't never done it that way before" here in the Southern part of our state and it sounds like it's the same where you are. Keeeryst, it's only 1 hour.
Wooley, there are places that actually flat refuse to change.
