A More Perfect Union
On July 4th 1776 a group of former British Colonists signed The Declaration of Independence. Living independently in a far away land they wanted to be just that, independent. This July 4th we are celebrating, not our independence from The English Empire, but the fact that we are an independent nation. I have comprised a list, in no particular order, of things that are American that perhaps we can focus on rather than foreign policy.
1) Giant breaded pork tenderloins on a bun with mustard and pickles
2) Rock and Roll
3) Apehangers
4) Orville and Wilbur Wright
5) William S. Harley and the Davidson brothers
6) Baseball
7) Sesame street
8) Thomas Hart Benton
9) The Ford Mustang
10) The Chevrolet Corvette
11) 1965 Plymouth Belvedere Hemi
12) Ray Bradbury
13) Jazz
14) P.T. Barnum
15) Johnny Cash
16) Jackson Pollock
17) Yard Darts
18) Harry Callahan
19) Harry Callahan (the other one)
20) John Ford
21) The United States National Parks
22) Old Glory
23) Moon Pies
24) Edwin Land
25) Charles and Ray Eames
I could go on and on about all that is great about America but I should stop at 25. These are certainly not the top 25 (except number 1) just the first 25 that came to mind. I hope you all have a safe July fourth wherever you are on this big ol’ rock and remember all the people who are fighting to keep us free and try to remember that all Americans are not idiots. Just the ones on television. Happy Birthday!

I like the moon pies, the Harleys of course, and that damn pork looks pretty good, along with the rest of the list.... I like it...
Happy 4th!!
If you've never had one of those tenderloins your life is lacking. If you eat pork that is. Thanks for the comments!
(not related to your present post)
I found an SRX-6 on ebay that's located about 20 min from me. If I go check it out, anything in particular I should look for?
Ever since you posted the pic of your SRX, I've been scouting for them.
